Hard Drive Testing

In 1977, we created the first digital oscilloscope with a disk drive installed in it. Since then, we have marketed our instruments to the competitive disk drive manufacturing sector. The ability to write large amounts of data quickly under a variety of conditions leads us to supply instruments from the design process through to manufacturing.

It is critical that manufacturers are able to characterize how their drives will work under the harshest of environments and so we offer a series of vibrators to test the drive or the assembly that the drive is installed in.

Shake It with LDS Vibrators

Using our line of shakers, we typically test drives using our V830 & V850, exposing your test article to the harshest of environments. Speciality packages delivering pyro-technic pulses or specific bespoke packages can also be designed to suit individual needs.
