| The Most Recent History |
 | | In the mid-90’s, Ling Dynamic Systems was acquired by United Dominion Industries. Just a few month later this US/Canada based company was purchased by SPX Corporation, a US based industrial enterprise.
This move, along with the financial backing of a large multinational corporation, enabled us to roll out an aggressive plan for internal and external growth. As a first step, Ling Dynamic Systems established sales and service subsidiaries in the USA, France and Germany to better support its growing customer base in these important markets.

| The Acquisition of Dactron, Gould and Nicolet |
 | In May, 2001, LDS purchased Dactron Inc. for its expertise in Vibration Controllers and Dynamic Signal Analysers – products that ideally complement the shaker business. During this period, LDS has seen significant organic growth and has gained a strong financial position.
In November 2003, it completed the acquisition of Gould-Nicolet and merged with its test systems and signal analyser business to form LDS Test and Measurement.

| Committment for the Future |
| Our roots form the fundament for future growth. 80% of our current instruments have been introduced during the last four years since we became LDS Test and Measurement.
As of July 2007, we will enter into a new dimension of data acquisition and analysis. Our new Dimension 4i Data Recorder has 24 Bit resolution and is capable of simultaneously performing real time signal analysis and high speed data recording. Many more new products and solutions are waiting in our pipeline to be launched in the year ahead.
